Fiontan Fleming has begun to write. I don’t mean that literally, of course. Take one look at him and it’s obvious that his primary school days are way in the past. What I mean is that the career in software development is now behind him. Until 2017, other priorities left him no time to write more than an occasional shopping list. Things have changed.
He has written five novels, as yet unpublished. The sixth is underway. He writes about ordinary people making the best of whatever life throws at them. No international espionage, no millionaires, no interplanetary wars.
His mind is such that, while writing longer works, ideas for shorter pieces come into his head, and he needs to get them out of his system. Rather than leave them unread on the hard drive of his laptop, he has started this blog. He writes in order to be read. Without eyes, his words have no life.
Fiontan writes to entertain. If you are entertained by anything you read here, wonderful. If not, no worries; thanks for taking a look.
