Lockdown thoughts

I’m starting to get my head around it, the lockdown thing.

They tell you to stay at home, and you’re locked down. Easy. But if they tell you to stay in prison, you’re locked up. Less obvious.

Then, if you’re locked down, and you’re in your house and can’t open the door to get out, and you’ve no memory of doing anything bad enough to be sent to prison, then you’re locked in.

On the other hand, if you’re locked down and have been out to buy food, and on the way back you’re outside the house and can’t open the door to get in, you’re locked out. Before you get into too much of a panic, it’s always worth double-checking that you’re outside the right house. A lot look very similar.

If you’re still confused, the important thing is to stay sane, otherwise you’ll be locked away.
